At Boudoir Noir, we strive to Enlighten Human Sexuality through Education and Empowerment.
HISTORY
Seeing a need in the local market, Boudoir Noir’s founder Tim Straley dedicated himself into creating a high-end Adult Store, which he proudly opened in 1997! Providing, a clean, friendly, judgement-free, and respectable environment, with high quality products and knowledgeable staff.
We still strive for that same excellence today! Boudoir Noir has become one of the Midwest’s premier adult novelty and lingerie retail chains! Locations include Fort Wayne and, Evansville, IN. As our company continues to grow we hope to expand access to top quality products and excellent customer service throughout the country.

Not only do we offer toys, fetish, and novelty items; but an array of bath and body products, supplements, bachelorette supplies, lingerie/costumes and more! We are also proud to supply the School of Loving Arts sexual education classes throughout each month! Teaching everything from beginner’s bondage, to finding your G-Spot! CHARITABLE GIVING
In everything we do at Boudoir Noir we like to have a little bit of fun, and that fun doesn’t stop at fundraising for a worthy cause! Giving back to the community and those in need. We especially enjoy hosting charitable events such as our annual SPCA Dog and Car Wash and our annual Scare Away Breast Cancer Halloween Fashion Show. Throughout the years we have regularly contributed our time and money to organizations such as the SPCA, Vanderburgh Humane Society, Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana, the Autism Society of Indiana, the Autism Society of Northwest Ohio, The AIDS Task Force, FOP P.A.L.S., and many others. Boudoir Noir is committed to serving the communities that support our local business, and will continue to assist any charity or sponsorship we can!
Fundraising isn’t the only thing we enjoy doing in our community. We also love to participate in local festivals, where we give out discount beads, free merch, chat with the locals, and spread the Boudoir love! Community is a big part of our way of life! School of Loving Arts
Established in the spring of 2012, The School of Loving Arts, offered educational workshops on topics ranging from Sex Toys 101, Fetish/Bondage for Beginners, to Sexual Health.
The School of Loving Arts partnered with Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana to help cancer survivors address post-surgical and post-radiation intimacy issues. (5/1/20 - Due to the pandemic, The School of Loving Arts in no longer offering in-store educational workshops.)
We pride ourselves on establishing a business where our employees have the correct knowledge needed to educate you about each product before, and after your purchase! Being informed on the Do’s & Don’ts for the products you own, like cleaning techniques or the right lube for your toy to avoid bacteria and infections, to helping you know your body, and the location of the spots to aim for! We want you to be glad you shopped with us, and always feel comfortable doing so!
