Power
This will determine how powerful your toy will be. Battery powered toys can be very powerful, but not as powerful as a plug in the wall type toy.

Material
Silicone= The Cadillac of toy materials. A soft yet firm, silky, non-porous material that will not hold bacteria’s. Perfect for someone with allergies or sensitive skin, because silicone is hypo-allergenic. Maintains temperature when frozen or boiled. Toys made of silicone are more expensive than the following materials, but are very durable and when taken care of properly, they will last for years and years.
Glass= Similar to silicone, glass is a smooth, hard, non-porous material. Making it another material that’s hypo-allergenic and good for individuals with sensitivities or allergies. No need to worry about glass chipping or breaking with normal use. It’s also a great way to experiment with temperature play. Freeze it, boil it, and throw it in the dishwasher for cleaning.
Realistic= UR3, Cyber Skin, Real feel, all describe a material that is as close as possible to feeling like real flesh. Flexible, soft, life-like, and warms to skin tempature. These toys do take slightly more after care to protect the finish. After washing the toy with a toy cleaner, allow to dry, place a light dusting of “CYBERSKIN RENEWAL POWDER” to insure its texture.
ABS/Hard Plastic= Hard plastic which transmits the maximum vibration. Usually louder than the softer materials. It doesn’t seem like the ideal material but is perfect for external stimulation, prostate play and PC muscle strengthening.
Jelly/Soft/Elastomers= Soft and in most cases flexible, these toys are affordable, and usually pretty quiet.
Rubber= Firm to the touch, affordable and usually porous.
